knock offs 19 January 2008
Well, it was bound to happen, I suppose…the knock-offs showed their worth. My fake UGGs are still as cosy as ever BUT turns out they can’t do rain – and I don’t think it would have mattered if I had sprayed them first with the protector thingy or not (I didn’t) I think they were never meant to keep out any serious precipitation. SO I had a great walk through town today (truly) then first of all the toes got drenched, though not unlike a sweaty feeling so I rose above it, and then the heels got wet and that’s unnatural so had to be addressed and the upshot is I went home early, took off the sodden boots (£10 worth and will be a total success in drier weather and are not going to be chucked cos I love them and they are doing their best and at the price still don’t owe me a penny) and had a lovely snooze which I wouldn’t have had if I had been motoring with dry feet (hoping for one – snooze – but unable to justify it)…Those boots, as I say, don’t owe me a cent.
