Idiosyncrasies of the flat = smoke alarm still functioning though I thought I had killed it off by removing it (cos it was beeping) from the bedroom – er, NO, still working veh veh well as it went off as I cooked a steak for Himself this evening. A new neighbour says it happens in all the flats all the time…hmmm, another thing to ‘look forward to’…
